Not quite — the estimator uses the weight you enter, which is your best guess. Your actual total is confirmed once your laundry is weighed at pickup or drop-off. Most estimates are close, but the official price is based on the real weight.

Pickup minimums vary by area — $25 for the Honesdale core (18431), $35 for nearby towns within 20 miles, and $45–$60 for the extended area up to 30 miles out. The per-pound rate still applies above the minimum, so larger orders are priced by weight. Drop-off has a $10 minimum regardless of location.

Hickey's Laundry is based around Honesdale (18431). We service nearby towns up to 20 miles away and an extended area up to 30 miles. Each zone has its own order minimum — enter your zip code in the estimator to see exactly which zone you're in and what your minimum will be. Beyond 30 miles, give us a call and we'll work something out.

Booking requires a $10 deposit paid through Square, which locks in your time slot. After your laundry is picked up and weighed, we'll send you a Square invoice for the remaining balance — payable by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay from your phone. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before pickup or drop-off.

Standard wash-and-fold: your clothes are washed in like-colors, dried, and folded neatly. Have special instructions — cold water, specific detergent, hang dry? Just let us know at booking and we'll make a note.

Turnaround time depends on current volume. We'll give you an estimated return timeframe when we confirm your booking. Most orders come back within 24–48 hours.
